9-9-21 nfdl school board adopts new masking criteria

todaySeptember 8, 2021

Less  than a week after not voting on a mask requirement for the school district the North Fond du Lac School Board has met again in special session and established new criteria for masking.   Under the new threshold, if a certain number of students have COVID-19, or if the District has a high transmission rate there would be a 15 day masking requirement.  North Fond du Lac superintendent Aaron Sadoff says it’s a similar policy to one adopted last week by the Oakfield School Board.  A week into the new school year Sadoff says there are already students who have tested positive for COVID-19.  Sadoff says the bottom line is the district is taking steps to keep schools open and students and staff safe.
