The Fond du Lac School Board has given approval to a preliminary budget.  Superintendent Dr. Jeff Fleig says the balanced budget includes approximately $2.5 million more in state aid.  The preliminary budget projects an 8.7 percent drop in the school district tax levy.  Dr. Fleig says the challenge will come in future years because of declining enrollment.   The district is projecting 6,750 students, about the same as last year, but down from […]

A Fond du Lac County man was flown by helicopter to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries following a one vehicle alcohol-related crash in Fond du Lac County.  The crash happened shortly before 11pm Saturday on Highway W near Malone.

The Fond du Lac School District has announced that Fond du Lac High School head Football coach Steven Jorgensen will be taking a leave of absence from his position of  Head Coach for the remainder of the season.   According to a press release Jorgensen is stepping away this season due to personal reasons but  will continue to teach physical education at Fond du Lac High School.   The team’s defensive coordinator Dakota Hermes has been […]
