9-24-21 fdl police chief says officer who died from covid-19 contracted virus while on duty

The Fond du Lac Police Chief says all evidence indicates a police officer who died this week from COVID-19 contracted the virus while on duty.  Chief Aaron Goldstein made the statement in a Facebook post.  Twenty six year old officer Joseph Kurer died Wednesday at Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee.    Goldstein says the death is being treated as a line of duty death,  the second COVID-19 line of duty death in Wisconsin.  Meanwhile a memorial […]
