MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Ben Voelkel, a former aide to Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, said Thursday he’s running for lieutenant governor. Voelkel was communications director for Johnson, a Republican, from 2017 to earlier this year. He also worked on Johnson’s re-election campaign in 2016. 9-23-21 fdl police officer dies from covid-19

Funeral arrangements are pending for a Fond du Lac police officer who has died from COVID-19.  Police Chief Aaron Goldstein says officer Joseph Kurer was 26 years old and had been with the department since August 2018.  Kurer was a member of the Tactical Field Force Team, Honor Guard Unit, Domestic Violence Intervention Team, and earlier this year was certified as a Field Training Officer.  He was a graduate of St. Mary's Springs Academy.   Officer Kurer […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A divided Wisconsin Supreme Court has agreed to hear a redistricting lawsuit supported by the Republican-controlled Legislature instead of requiring it to start in lower courts like most cases do.
