A Chilton man was seriously injured in an ATV rollover crash in Fond du Lac County. The crash happened Tuesday morning in a field near St. Paul Road in the town of Calumet. A preliminary investigation shows the 51 year old operator was checking a line that was used in a farm field to pump fertilizer when he looked over his shoulder, travelled across the line and lost control of the ATV. The ATV rolled over ejecting the operator off the ATV. The operator was flown by helicopter to Theda Care Regional Medical Center- Neenah with serious injuries. He was not wearing a helmet.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
