MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources officials have scaled back the number of wolves hunters can kill during the state's fall season in defiance of the board that controls the agency. LANCASTER, Wis. (AP) — Sheriff’s officials say two people were killed and three others were critically injured when their Amish buggy was hit by a minivan in Grant County. Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue is observing Fire Prevention Week and Month with an Open House.   Fire and Rescue Division Chief of Fire Prevention Garth Schumacher says an open house will be held from 4:30pm to 6:30pm Tuesday at the Fire Training Center on North Rolling Meadows Drive.  Schumacher says all of the proceeds will be directed toward fire prevention.  The public is invited.  The event is free.
