Nobody was injured when a vehicle ended up in Lake Winnebago in Lakeside Park. Shortly after 7:30pm Sunday rescue personnel were called to the scene near Frazier Point for a report that two children were on the hood of the vehicle and two other adults were inside. Rescue crews found all occupants out on the shore uninjured. Fond du Lac police are investigating how the vehicle ended up in the lake.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
