Rosenow Elementary School recently received a $1,000 grant from Superior Diesel to provide calming corners in all 30 classrooms at their school.    The purpose of a calming corner is to teach and support students’ emotional regulation strategies. Fond du Lac Police captain Jason Laridaen has been promoted to assistant chief of police.  Laridaen fills the vacancy created when assistant chief Aaron Goldstein was named police chief.   Laridaen joined the Department in 1995 as a Police Officer. City offices in the City/County Government Center will be closed on November 25th and 26th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.   The Municipal Service Center office will be closed on November 25th and 26th. 11-12-21 covid-19 booster shot drive-thru clinic

The Fond du Lac County Health Department is holding another COVID-19 booster drive through clinic.   Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says the vaccine clinic will be held Friday at the Fairgrounds Cow Palace.   Mueller says Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson and Johnson  booster vaccines will be provided to eligible individuals.   No insurance, appointment or ID is required although Mueller says you can register ahead of time of you wish  through a link […]

11-12-21 covid-19 deaths top 150 in fdl county

Four more COVID-19 deaths have been confirmed in Fond du Lac County including two people in their 20s.   The Fond du Lac County Health Department says the deaths include a  27 year old woman, 28 year old man, 50 year old man and 71 year old man.   There have been 152 COVID-19  deaths  in Fond du Lac County since the pandemic started.
