12-20-21 fdl police investigating shots fired

Nobody was injured and Fond du Lac police are continuing their investigation after receiving multiple reports early Sunday morning of gunshots being fired.  At approximately 2am Sunday police officers responded to the area of the 100 block of  East First Street and did not locate anyone or any active disturbance taking place but did find a number of shell casings in the street.  Officers canvassed the area and did not find any damage to property and no one reported any injuries.  Investigators are looking to speak with the driver of a vehicle possibly seen leaving the  area at the time of the incident.  The only description of the vehicle was that it was  white in color and last seen driving west bound on First Street toward Main Street.  Anyone with information is asked to call police.
