12-7-21 firefighters prevent cornstalk fire from spreading to barn

Nobody was injured and firefighters prevented a cornstalk fire from spreading to a barn in Fond du Lac County.   Shortly before 8:30am Monday firefighters from several area departments responded to Joas Farms Pasture Products on River Road in the town of Oakfield for a report of a large amount of cornstalk bales on fire and the fire was threatening a nearby barn.  The fire was contained to the bales of cornstalk.  Investigators believe the fire […]

Gov. Tony Evers has announced the appointment of Lori Kornblum to the Court of Appeals District II.  The appointment will fill the vacancy being created by Judge Paul F.
