The Fond du Lac Area United Way is closing in on it's fundraising goal with less than a month to go in the campaign.  Executive director Amber Kilawee says people can still donate to this year's campaign through the end of the month to help support 26 member agencies.  The United Way is at 87 percent of it's $625,000 goal.

1-10-22 fire destroys fdl county barn

Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a hay barn in Fond du Lac County.  A Sheriff's deputy on routine patrol reported the fire at Townline Road early Sunday morning.   The barn had hay in it and is considered a total loss.  The  cause is suspected to be electrical.
