The Lomira School District has a new administrator. The School Board has offered the position to Ty Breitlow, current District Administrator for the Randolph School District. The school board plans to formally vote on the hiring at it’s March 9 meeting. Breitlow would start his duties July first. He replaces Bob Lloyd who is retiring after nine years as District administrator and middle school principal and 20 years with the district. Brietlow is the 2019 Wisconsin Principal of the Year. Breitlow said he was “humbled and honored” to join the School District of Lomira. “This is a proud district with a noteworthy tradition of academic, artistic, athletic, business and agricultural excellence,” he said. “I look forward to moving into the district and becoming an active member of the community, building relationships, and partnerships that will continue to support and enhance outstanding opportunities for students.” Breitlow has served as District Administrator for the Randolph School District since 2019. He previously served as Director of Learning and Principal of Chilton High School for seven years. Before that, he was Dean of Students at Arrowhead Union High School and taught social studies at Arrowhead and West Allis Central High School. He also coached football and track and field.
