2-23-22 randolph school district administrator tabbed for same post in lomira

The Lomira School District has a new administrator.  The School Board has offered the position to  Ty Breitlow, current District Administrator for the Randolph School District.  The school board plans to formally vote on the hiring at it's March 9 meeting.  Breitlow would start his duties July first.  He replaces Bob Lloyd who is retiring after nine years as District administrator and middle school principal and 20 years with the district.   Brietlow is the […]

2-22-22 covid-19 freefall continues locally, statewide

The COVID-19  freefall of cases continues in Wisconsin a month after the Omicron variant peaked.   On January 19, the statewide seven day average of new cases hit a record high of 18, 810 per day.   A month later cases are under 1,400 per day.   Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says there were only 49 COVID-19 cases reported in Fond  du Lac County over the weekend.

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (AP) — A UW-Eau Claire student faces felony charges after he allegedly caused thousands of dollars in damage to a dorm basement.
