Fond du Lac police officers were busy Thursday responding to a series of four drunken driving incidents in less than a 12 hour period. The first incident occured at noon Thursday when officers were investigating a two vehicle crash near West Scott St. and North Hickory St. where a 30 year old man was arrested for operating while impaired. At 6:45 PM police received a citizen tip and arrested a 43 year old man for OWI in the 100 block of West Rolling Meadows Drive. Less than three hours later officers were investigating a vehicle crash near West Johnson Street and North Pioneer Road where a 44 year old woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated and issued a citation for running a red light. The final incident happened shortly before midnight near West Division and North Macy Streets for a citizen report of a possible intoxicated driver. Officers located the vehicle but the driver refused to stop and a slow speed pursuit ensued. The 52 year old female driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated 2 nd offense and eluding.
