todayMarch 8, 2022

The state senate this week is expected to approve a Republican authored bill designed to require the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation to develop a talent recruitment and retention program.   Delivering a weekly radio address for Republican lawmakers,  state senator Dan Feyen of Fond du Lac says the state budget, passed  last July, included $3 million dedicated to talent attraction and retention, yet,  WEDC still has not implemented the program.  Feyen says Wisconsin’s workforce has shrunk as older workers are retiring and Wisconsin’s population growth lags behind the rest of the upper Midwest.
