3-3-22 wisconsin flood awareness week

As winter melts away to spring, it also marks a return to flood season.   This week is Flood Safety Awareness Week in Wisconsin.  Emergency Management spokeswoman Katie Rousonelos says flooding from melting snow or heavy rain is one of the most common and most costly natural hazards in the state.  Since 2010, more than a dozen people in the state have lost their lives during flooding.

3-2-22 fdl man sentenced to life in prison in shooting death

A Fond du lac man has been sentenced to life in prison in the shooting death of another Fond du Lac man.   Twenty-six-year-old Devon Neuman was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole in 31 years for the 2017 shooting death of Logan Foster. Nobody was injured in a fire in the wood shop at the Waupun junior/senior high school.  All students had been removed from the shop area when firefighters arrived shortly after 3:30pm Tuesday to find smoke coming from the dust collector outside the wood shop.
