Voters in the Oakfield School District have approved a school building referendum, but a building referendum was defeated in the Rosendale Brandon School District.  Voters rejected a nearly $30 million referendum in Rosendale Brandon  for additions and renovations at Laconia High School , and  renovations to  Brandon Elementary and Rosendale Intermediate Schools.  The referendum was defeated 959 no votes to 773 yes votes.   In Oakfield voters approved a  $16 million building referendum to  […]

MADISON, Wis., (AP) — Federal officials are looking for suggestions from the public on new monikers for nearly 30 geographic features in Wisconsin with names they've declared derogatory to American Indians.
