5-9-22 fdl lighthouse drive reconstruction project

Fond du Lac city officials are planning for a reconstruction of Lighthouse Drive on the Lighthouse peninsula at Fond du lac’s Lakeside Park.  Public Works director Paul DeVries says one of the big questions that still has to be answered is when the street is repaved, will a walking trail along the lake be extended.  DeVries says the concern voiced by some advisory park board members is that by adding the trail, some parking would be lost along the lakefront.  DeVries says construction is still slated to begin this year.
