5-12-22 semi tractor trailer overturns in dodge county

The driver of a semi tractor trailer escaped injury when  his tractor and trailer overturned in Dodge County.  The crash happened Wednesday morning  on Hemlock Road between USHY 151 and County Road A, in the township of Beaver Dam. Initial investigation showed that the  Peterbilt left the roadway and traveled into the south ditch, striking a culvert,  overturning the tractor and trailer.  The male driver of the semi was not injured in the crash.  […]

5-11-22 fdl firefighters battle marsh fire

The Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue Brush Response ATV was used to help extinguish a marsh fire Tuesday night.  Shortly after 11pm Tuesday firefighters were called to Lakeshore Drive just north of Howard Litscher Drive encountering a dry marsh grass on fire, which was quickly spreading to the east.  It took crews about 45 minutes to extinguish the fire.   Van Dyne Fire Department assisted on scene with water supply needs.  “The very dry […]
