5-31-22 pontoon boat partially sinks in lake winnebago

5-31-22 basement fire-fdl county

Nobody was injured in a basement fire that caused minor damage to a Fond du Lac County residence.   Shortly after 10pm Sunday firefighters were called to the Dennis Stahmann residence on Highway 23 in the town of Lamartine for a report of smoke coming from the basement.     Firefighters from Lamartine, Eldorado, Rosendale and the city of Fond du Lac helped battle the fire.

5-28-22 small plane crash in wauwatosa

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (AP) — A student pilot is critical condition after his small plane crashed in Wauwatosa. Police said in a statement Friday that the two-seat Cessna 152 crashed in a home's backyard Thursday afternoon after taking off from Timmerman Airport on Milwaukee's north side.
