The Ripon Chamber of Commerce has a new executive director.  Chicago native Mandy Kimes has been hired to the post, replacing Jason Mansmith who  resigned to become the marketing director for the Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake.   Kimes was one of three finalists for the position and will take over as chamber director in June.

APPLETON, Wis. (AP) — Police in Appleton have arrested a man who climbed onto a church roof with a gun. Police received a call Thursday morning about a suspect who pointed a gun at someone at St. Bernadette Parish. The suspect then got on the roof.
