6-27-22 missing fdl woman found safe

A Fond du Lac woman who was the subject of a Silver Alert has been found safe.  Sixty one year old Mary Mann  was reported missing  Friday  morning near the area of 6th Street and South Park Avenue.  The Fond du Lac Police Department reported shortly before 5pm Friday that she was found safe.

6-27-22 nfdl man convicted in rash of arson fires

A  North Fond du lac man has been convicted of setting multiple  fires in Fond du Lac County.  Michael Miller has been convicted on two counts of arson, five counts of possession of  child pornography, two counts of 1st Degree Reckless Endangering Safety, Burglary, and  two counts of Criminal Damage to Property.   When he is sentenced September 23 he faces a possible maximum sentence of 150 years in prison.  Fond du Lac […]

A longtime Fond du Lac broadcaster has been inducted into the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.   Fond du Lac radio station owner Chris Bernier was one of four  broadcasters added to the WBA Hall of Fame during the induction event this week. The 10 th annual Celebrate Waupun is being held this weekend  at Tanner Park in Waupun.  Waupun Festivals president Nick Rusch says the three day event features carnival rides, food, music, and more.   The festival opens at 2pm Friday, with a fish fry starting at 4pm.   The festival opens at noon  Saturday, and includes a  “city of Sculpture” trolley ride.    Events continue Sunday wrapping up with a fireworks show at 9:30pm.
