7-8-22 theresa man sentenced to prison for fatal crash in fdl

A Theresa man is going to prison in connection with a fatal drunken driving crash in the city of Fond du Lac.  David Worley has been sentenced to eight years in prison followed by seven years extended supervision.  Worley was the driver of a car that collided with a Fonddu Lac ambulance at the intersection of North Main and Johnson Streets in September of 2020.  A passenger in Worley's vehicle was killed.  According to a […]

7-7-22 fdl county sheriff’s deputies confiscate large amount of drugs during traffic stops

Fond du Lac County Sheriff's deputies arrested five men and confiscated large quantities of illegal drugs during three recent separate traffic stops on Interstate 41.  Sheriff Ryan Waldschmidt says the traffic stops prevented significant quantities of marijuana, cocaine, and counterfeit fentanyl laced pills from being distributed in the area.  Waldschmidt says the drugs were likely being transported here for distribution just prior to the holiday weekend.
