7-19-22 city of mayville receives major grant to convert former high school into apartments

The city of Mayville has been awarded a major grant to turn a former high school into downtown housing.  Wisconsin Economic Development  Corporation Secretary Missy Hughes made a stop in Mayville Monday to announce a $250,000 Community Development Investment grant for the Albrecht School Apartments.  The development will convert the former Mayville High School into 20 apartments and  a commercial space in the iconic red brick building in the heart of the downtown.
