An eight year old Fond du Lac girl has been crowned Little Miss Galaxy International. Hailey Hopper competed this month for the title in McAllen, Texas against girls from across the globe. Hopper qualified for the pageant after winning the Little Miss Wisconsin Galaxy contest. “When I heard my name on that stage I was ready for it, and I wasn’t expecting to be up on the stage,” Hopper told WFDL news. “…I was so nervous, but I had the confidence that I was going to win and when they called my name I was really happy.” Hailey’s community service resume includes volunteering for the Salvation Army Brown Bag lunch program, a book drive for Kenya, supply drive for a homeless shelter and at the Wisconsin Miss Amazing special needs pageant. Hailey’s mom, Melissa, says her daughter has always been an outgoing kid. Her reign as Little Miss Galaxy International will run through 2023.
