8-16-22 victim of fatal traffic crash in dodge county identified

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim of a fatal rollover crash last week.  The Sheriff's Office says 42 year old Stacy Sigmund of Jefferson was pronounced dead at the scene last Tuesday  on the northbound state Highway 26 off ramp at state Highway 16.   The crash remains under investigation.

8-16-22 uw system launches free tuition program at regional campuses

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The University of Wisconsin System is launching a new tuition waiver at its 12 regional campuses. The program, dubbed the Wisconsin Tuition Promise, is modeled after the Bucky's Tuition Promise program at UW-Madison. Beginning in fall 2023, Wisconsin residents who come from families making less than $62,000 a year would have tuition and fees remaining after receiving financial aid waived. 8-15-22 police shoot and kill wisconsin man after domestic dispute

APPLETON, Wis. (AP) — Law enforcement authorities say police shot and killed a man in Appleton, Wisconsin, while investigating a domestic disturbance. The Wisconsin Justice Department said Saturday that officers were confronted by an armed man at a home in Appleton Friday night.
