The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is investigating a rash of residential burglaries. The Sheriff's Office says it has been taking a series of reports of burglaries to unoccupied homes in the northwest part of Dodge county. The Sheriff's office is asking residents to be vigilant in locking and securing your residence. If you see something that seems suspicious you are asked to call the Sheriff's office.
Nobody was injured in a dumpster fire that spread to two nearby Fond du Lac homes. The fire Sunday evening extensively damaged a home at 143 Ellis Street. Three occupants were able to escape safely. The fire caused minor damage to the second home at 145 and a half Ellis. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Two people received life-threatening injuries when their motorcycles collided on Interstate 41 in Fond du Lac, The victims, two men ages 39 and 41, were part of a group of motorcycles traveling northbound on 41 Saturday afternoon when they collided near Military Road.
One man was seriously injured and one man is in custody following a stabbing incident in Dodge County. The incident happened Saturday night at a residence in Reeseville. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries. A 21 year old man was arrested at the scene.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A husband and wife from Wisconsin celebrating more than five decades of marriage were killed in a lightning strike outside the White House. The couple, 76-year-old James Mueller and 75-year-old Donna Mueller, of Janesville, Wisconsin, died after the Thursday night lightning strike in Lafayette Park.
