8-9-22 ellis street fire may be suspicious

8-9-22 residential burglaries-dodge county

The Dodge County Sheriff's  Office is investigating a rash of residential burglaries.  The Sheriff's Office says it has been taking a series of reports of burglaries to unoccupied homes in the northwest part of Dodge county.   The Sheriff's office is asking residents to be vigilant in locking and securing your residence.  If you see something that seems suspicious you are asked to call the Sheriff's office.

8-8-22 dumpster fire spreads to two homes in fdl

Nobody was injured in a dumpster fire that spread to two nearby Fond du Lac homes. The fire Sunday evening extensively damaged a home at 143 Ellis Street. Three occupants were able to escape safely. The fire caused minor damage to the second home at 145 and a half Ellis. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

8-8-22 wisconsin couple killed by lightning strike near white house

WASHINGTON (AP) — A husband and wife from Wisconsin celebrating more than five decades of marriage were killed in a lightning strike outside the White House. The couple, 76-year-old James Mueller and 75-year-old Donna Mueller, of Janesville, Wisconsin, died after the Thursday night lightning strike in Lafayette Park.
