9-4-22 driver missing after fleeing crash scene found safe

A Fond du Lac County man, missing following a motor vehicle crash, has been found safe.  Shortly after 4:30pm Saturday rescue personnel  responded to a report of a  one vehicle crash at the intersection of  County Highway Q and Calmar Road in Fond du Lac County.  A preliminary investigation shows a vehicle failed to negotiate a curve,  left the road,  and struck several trees.  The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office […]

9-4-22 two people critically injured in separate scooter, moped crashes

Two people were seriously injured in separate crashes in Fond du Lac Friday night, one involving a scooter and another a moped.  Shortly after 9pm Friday an  individual attempting to cross Scott Street near Mill Street on a scooter was struck by a vehicle.  The scooter operator was transported to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee with life-threatening injuries.   Police were working  to positively  identify the scooter operator.
