  1. Butler Street from Russell Street to Portage Street

Schedule: July 7 through October
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals,  storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
October 17 to October 21: Concrete contractor will continue pouring sidewalk and driveway aprons. Electrical Contractor will install street lights and access boxes. Restoration of terraces may begin.
Traffic Impacts: N. Butler is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.

14 th Street Reconstruction
Schedule: May 31 through October
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
October 17 to October 21: Contractor will continue grading for sidewalks. Concrete contractor will continue pouring sidewalk and driveway aprons. Contractor may begin placing topsoil on private side.
Traffic Impacts: 14 th Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.

  1. Division Street from Brooke Street to Moore Street, Taylor Street, Lewis Street

Schedule: September 26 through November
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
October 17 to October 21: Sewer work will continue.
Traffic Impacts: W. Division Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.
2022 Mill ; Overlay Program
Schedule: October 3 through October 21
Description: The project includes manhole adjustments, spot curb and gutter replacement, milling pavement, and overlay of asphalt.
Project Locations:
 Grove Street from Hickory Street to Superior Street
 Grove Street from Hickory Street, west approximately 520 feet
 Hickory Street from Johnson Street to Scott Street
 Northwest Way from Van Dyne Road west 215 feet
October 17 to October 21: Contractor completed structure adjustments. The concrete contractor will begin spot repairs for curb & gutter and ADA ramps.
Traffic Impacts: All streets remain open to traffic.
Military Road from Western Avenue to Superior Street – WI DOT Northeast Region
Schedule: April 11-October 2022
Description: The reconstruction of S Military Rd includes reconstruction of the street and utilities, addition of bike lane and construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Military Road and 9 th Street.
October 17 to October 21: Concrete pavement will be completed and crews will start installing the new concrete sidewalk.
Traffic Impacts: Military Road remains closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. The intersection of Military Road and 9 th Street remains closed to traffic.
WIS 23 Expansion – Urban Section – WI DOT Northeast Region
Location/limits: WIS 23 and various intersecting local roads between US 151 and Seven Hills Road
Schedule: April 11, 2021 to fall of 2022
Description of work:  This work is part of the WIS 23 4-lane, on-alignment expansion project in Sheboygan and Fond du Lac counties.
October 17 to October 21: The contractor anticipates working on the following items:
 Complete placing concrete barrier wall along WIS 23 westbound from County K to County UU.
 Complete pavement marking on WIS 23 westbound.
 Place guardrail on WIS 23 westbound.
 Begin construction on the median between WIS 23 eastbound and westbound.
 Continue permanent pavement marking along WIS 23 westbound.
 Continue placing concrete sidewalk on the County UU interchange.
 Begin asphalt paving, guardrail installation, signing, and pavement marking on the USH 151 northbound off ramp to WIS 23.
 Begin reconstruction of Ledgewood Drive.
Traffic impacts:
 County K north at WIS 23 – Closed
 County UU (South of WIS 23) – Closed
 County UU (North of WIS 23) – Closed
 USH 151 northbound off ramp to WIS 23: Anticipate delays while using the ramp during construction.
 WIS 23 EB lane closure from County Lane to the east: Anticipate delays while using WIS 23 eastbound during construction.
 Ledgewood Drive is scheduled to start reconstruction during the week of October 17. Anticipate delaysduring construction.
 WIS 23 traffic is schedule to switch to the permanent eastbound lanes early the week of October 17 from County UU to the east.
 WIS 23 traffic is scheduled to switch to the permanent westbound lanes late the week of October 17 or early the week of October 24 from County UU to the west. When traffic is switched to the new westbound lanes,   Whispering Springs traffic will no longer be able to access WIS 23 eastbound.
