11-7-22 southbound hwy 151 off ramp to hwy 23 in fdl to close for 14 days

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region announces upcoming traffic impacts associated with the WIS 23 Project in the city of Fond du Lac in Fond du Lac County. Beginning on Monday, November 7, the southbound US 151 off-ramp to WIS 23 will be closed to traffic for 14 days to widen the southbound US 151 off-ramp to WIS 23.

 Traffic impacts:

• Southbound US 151 off-ramp to WIS 23 will be closed for 14 days beginning on Monday, November 7. Detour as follows:
  • Southbound US 151 traffic seeking WIS 23 should continue south and exit at the County V off-ramp and take northbound US 151 to the WIS 23 exit.

• The WIS 23 Expansion Project reconstructs 19.1 miles of WIS 23 as a 4-lane, on-alignment divided highway from US 151 in Fond du Lac east to County P in Sheboygan County.  Work began in May 2019 in Sheboygan County and will conclude in December 2022 in Fond du Lac County.
