11-7-22 FDL police still looking for answers in connection with shooting incident

todayNovember 4, 2022

There are still a lot of unanswered questions surrounding a shooting incident earlier this week in Fond du Lac.  Early Monday morning a 33 year old Fond du Lac man was transported to the hospital with a non life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg.  The incident happened in the 100 block of Forest Avenue.  But assistant police chief Steve Klein says detectives have not been able get a definitive account of what happened from the victim.  “The individual was vague as to what had transpired, Klein told WFDL news.  “We got a number of conflicting stories from the victim.”  In the meantime anyone with information on this incident is asked to call police  at (920) 906-5555, or the Crime Alert at (920) 322-3740.  Callers can remain anonymous.
