14 th Street Reconstruction
Schedule: May 31 through October
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
November 14 to November 18: Contractor is planning on hydromulching all topsoiled areas in order to meet DNR requirements for winter shutdown.
Traffic Impacts: 14 th Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.

  1. Division Street from Brooke Street to Moore Street, Taylor Street from Brooke Street to dead end, Lewis Street from Brooke Street to dead end, & Moore Street from Division Street to Lewis Street

Schedule: September 26 through November
Description: The project includes gas main and service relocations, reconstruction of sanitary sewer and laterals, storm sewer and laterals, water main and laterals, roadway, sidewalk and approaches, street lighting and restoration/landscaping.
November 14 to November 18: Concrete curb and sidewalk will be placed. Pavement patches on Brooke St. will be placed with temporary asphalt.
Traffic Impacts: W. Division Street is closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. It is illegal to drive past a “ROAD CLOSED” sign or to move any construction barricades. Parking is not permitted on the street within the construction zone during working hours.
Military Road from Western Avenue to Superior Street – WI DOT Northeast Region
Schedule: April 11-October 2022
Description: The reconstruction of S Military Rd includes reconstruction of the street and utilities, addition of bike lane and construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Military Road and 9 th Street.
November 14 to November 18: Signals at the Western Street intersection and the remaining project lighting work is schedule to be complete on Monday. The remaining asphalt drives, pavement markings, signs and restoration is scheduled to be completed before mid-week. Final cleanup and the removal of traffic control will take place by mid- week in preparation for OPENING the Military Road Project and roundabout.
Traffic Impacts: Military Road remains closed to through traffic. Residents, business owners, and customers may access properties past “ROAD CLOSED TO THRU TRAFFIC” signs. The intersection of Military Road and 9 th Street remains closed to traffic.
WIS 23 Expansion – Urban Section – WI DOT Northeast Region
November 14 to November 18: The contractor anticipates working on the following items:
 Continue installing fencing along WIS 23
 Continue pavement marking on WIS 23
 Begin construction on the County K/Highway 151 intersection.  Widened shoulders and temporary signals to be removed.
 Begin paving the park and ride
 Begin topsoil, landscaping, and signing on the County UU interchange
 Continue reconstruction work on the Highway 151 southbound off ramp to WIS 23.
Traffic impacts:
 County K north at WIS 23 – Closed
 County UU (South of WIS 23) – Closed
 County UU (North of WIS 23) – Closed
 WIS 23 EB lane closure from County Lane to the east: Anticipate delays while using WIS 23 eastbound during construction.
 WIS 23 WB lane closure at Highway 151 will continue.  Anticipate delays while using WIS 23 westbound during construction.
 The Highway 151 southbound off ramp to WIS 23 is closed.  There is a detour route posted to access WIS 23 from the north.
 The County K interchange is scheduled to be opened late the week of November 7 th .
 Monday November 14 th , there will be shoulder and turn lane closures at the County K/Highway 151 intersection.
 The WIS 23 median crossings have been permanently removed at Taft Road and Poplar Road.  Median access will remain at Richards Road and limited median access will be at Tower Road.
