GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur says he didn’t bother going home Sunday night after his team snapped its longest losing streak since 2008 by rallying for an overtime victory over the Dallas Cowboys. He simply didn’t have time. LaFleur had to start preparing as soon as possible for a Thursday night game with the Tennessee Titans as the Packers try to recover from a five-game skid that damaged their playoff hopes. The Packers can’t afford any letdown because their prolonged slump has left them with little margin for error.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
