11-18-22 covid testing ends monday at ripon college

Monday November 21 will be the final day for COVID-19 testing at Ripon College.  Fond  du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says free COVID-19 testing will continue indefinately at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Expo Center.  Mueller says dozens of people continue to get tested at the Fairgrounds.  Testing at the Fairgrounds takes place Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8am to 4:30pm.

11-17-22 arrest made in suspicious death case

A suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of a Fond du Lac woman.  Police chief Aaron Goldstein says the 57 year old Fond du Lac man faces charges of first degree intentional homicide and resisting in the death of 51 year old Jacquelyn Jo Rooney.  Rooney was found dead Saturday in her East Merrill Avenue apartment.  The Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office performed an autopsy.
