Three Fox Valley residents are in custody on drug violations following a traffic stop in Fond du Lac County. Shortly before 7pm Thursday a Fond du lac County Sheriff’s K9 deputy patrolling Interstate 41 stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation northbound near CTH N. During the course of the traffic stop, the deputy detected indicators of drug use and possession inside the vehicle and a subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted. During the search, deputies located over 900 MDMA pills (commonly referred to as Ecstasy) with a total weight of almost one pound (street value over $27,000), smaller quantities of methamphetamine and marijuana, illegally possessed prescription medications, and drug paraphernalia. The vehicle was seized and the three occupants of the vehicle, two men and a woman all from the Fox Valley, were taken into custody and transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail where they are being held on numerous drug related charges. The female suspect is also being held on a probation hold, as she is currently on active probation for multiple drug related convictions. A Sheriff’s Office Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group drug task force investigator is continuing the investigation.
