Why is this important?

The money is needed for The Salvation Army to continue its work as one of The Fond du Lac County’s most trusted helping hands.  A record 36,746 service requests reached the agency’s doors this year.  The kettles turned gold to reflect that historic need and the community heart that powers the service.  “When times are tough and there’s no fall back finances, our door is open. We extend the kindness and compassion that pulls people through,” Captain Christina Champlin said.
