Nobody was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash between two semi tractor trailers in Dodge County. The crash happened shortly before 2pm Tuesday at the intersection of Highway 26 and Dodge County Highway CI. A preliminary investigation shows a Freightliner semi struck the trailer of a Volvo semi that was turning at the intersection. The driver of the Freightliner, a 57 year old Horicon man, was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. The other driver, a 46 year old Florida man, was not injured.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
