12-16-22 wi unemployment rate unchanged

Wisconsin's unemployment rate remains below the national average.  The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development says the November unemployment rate was 3.3 percent, unchanged from the month before,  and below the national rate of 3.7 percent.  Preliminary employment estimates show Wisconsin added 6,500 nonfarm and 5,800 total private sector jobs in November.

12-16-22 record number of high speed chases in fdl county

12-16-22 city of fdl election audit shows votes counted accurately

The Fond du Lac city clerk says a recently completed audit shows that votes were counted accurately in the November election.  The audit was completed on voting machines in wards 4 and 10 in the city of Fond du Lac.  City Clerk Maggie Hefter says the audit provides an additional way to ensure the machines worked properly and the election was conducted accurately.  The audit was randomly selected by the Wisconsin Elections Commission, and was […]

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A judge is refusing to lower the $50,000 bail imposed on a 10-year-old Milwaukee boy accused of intentionally killing his mother because she would not buy him a virtual reality headset.
