The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a Huber Inmate walk away. An arrest warrant has been issued for 27 year old Jessica Grace Shafer after she failed to return to the jail from a medical appointment. Anyone with information about Shafer’s whereabouts is asked to call the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office at (920)386-3726 or your local law enforcement agency.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
