...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM MONDAY EVENING TO 10 AM CST TUESDAY…
* WHAT…Very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills of 20 to 25   below zero.
* WHERE…Portions of east central, south central and southeast  Wisconsin.
* WHEN…From 9 PM this evening to 10 AM CST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS…The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed   skin in as little as 30 minutes.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
Health officials and first responders are reminding residents to take precautions with dangerous windchills in the forecast this week.   The National Weather Service says windchills could be close to 25 below zero when kids are heading to school Tuesday morning.   Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says check on elderly neighbors and relatives to make sure they are okay.  Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych says when the windchill is 25 below zero frostbite can occur in as little as 15 minutes.
