MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin election officials say about 20% of the state's voting-age population cast ballots in the state Supreme Court primary. The Wisconsin Elections Commissions announced Wednesday that unofficial results show voters cast at least 960,477 ballots in Tuesday's primary. Due to weather conditions, Waste Management  suspended City of Fond du Lac Recycling  Thursday, February 23.  Recycling collection scheduled for  Thursday, will be collected Friday, February 24th and recycling scheduled for Friday, will be collected Saturday, February 25th .    City of Fond du lac Solid Waste Collection is running as scheduled.

2-23-22 burglary and high speed chase

Two Fond du Lac men were arrested in connection with a burglary and a high speed chase.  The burglary was reported Monday in the 100 block of South Portland Street and police officers stopped the suspect vehicle the next day at the Speedway gas station on West Johnson Street.  A high speed chase ensued ending a couple miles later near  the intersection of Streblow Drive.  The suspects were arrested at gunpoint.  Subsequent search warrants of two […]

A Fond du Lac man arrested after  an altercation with police has made his initial court appearance.   Forty year old Eric Tolonen is charged with two counts of battery to a law enforcement officer , disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and resisting all as a repeat offender.  Bail was set at $2,000 cash.   Tolonen was arrested last week after throwing chunks of concrete, striking an officer and a squad and  refusing to obey […]
