Fond du Lac assistant police chief Steve Klein is retiring. Klein's last official day on the job was Friday after 30 years of service in the Fond du Lac Police Department. A portion of East McWilliams Street in Fond du Lac will be closed for a couple days next week. Starting Monday East McWilliams from Marquette Street to Amory Street will be closed through the end of the day Tuesday. The closure will be in place to allow the water utility to replace and restore a lead service line.
