An isolated thunderstorm is possible today. 3 to 6 inches of snow accumulation is likely later today into early Monday especially across western portions of south central Wisconsin where a Winter Storm Warning and a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect. River flooding will continue in the Portage area.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
