4-18-23 nfdl police investigating reports of gunshots fired

North Fond du Lac Police continue to investigate a report that gun shots were fired in the  Lighthouse Point Mobile Home Community  Sunday afternoon.  Shortly after 1pm Sunday police received several 911 calls reporting 7-12 gunshots fired in rapid succession.   Responding officers located 9mm shell casings in the roadway on Swan Drive west of Prospect Avenue.   Officers did not locate property damage  or receive any reports of injuries from the gunfire.    A resident supplied a security video showing a late model gray pickup truck that may have been  involved in the incident.  At approximately 6:30PM on Sunday, the suspect vehicle was pulled over on Scott Street in Fond  du Lac and the 24 year old female driver was questioned, but later released.
