Ripon Police say an 18-year-old Ripon man found dead on a sidewalk died last week died from a drug overdose.   A 21-year-old Ripon man was arrested on a probation hold and two Fond du Lac County teenagers, ages 15 and 16 are being held at the Fond du Lac County Juvenile Detention Facility.  An investigation has determined that the teenagers and victim went to a Scott Street residence and used […]

4-14-23 wildfire forces evacuations in juneau county

NECEDAH, Wis. (AP) — A wildfire has led to evacuations in Juneau County. Authorities say the fire began in Necedah, about 90 miles north of Madison, and had spread to roughly 100 acres. The Department of Natural Resources says "several structures were in the fire’s path." No injuries were reported. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The man accused of firebombing a prominent Wisconsin anti-abortion group's office has pleaded not guilty. Investigators believe Hridindu Roychowdhury threw two Molotov cocktails into the Madison office of Wisconsin Family Action last May. 4-14-23 cornfield fire

Nobody was injured in a cornfield fire in Fond du Lac County. A farmer was cutting corn stalks in a field on county road F in the town of Eden when sparks from the machinery started the field on fire. The fire burned approximately 10 acres of corn stubble and was quickly extinguished.

4-14-23 two people injured in two vehicle crash in fdl county

Two people escaped serious injuries in a two vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County.   The crash happened shortly before 4:30pm Wednesday while deputies were investigating a crash on southbound Highway 151 near County highway AS.   The investigation shows that a southbound vehicle rear-ended a slower southbound vehicle that was hauling farm machinery. 4-14-23 campbellsport man arrested after making threats in dundee

A Campbellsport man was arrested after causing a disturbance in Dundee. Shortly after 2:30pm Wednesday sheriff’s deputies were called to Dins Mini Mart for an intoxicated man threatening to cause damage.
