4-25-23 electric car sales up

Nearly all AAA Car Guide category winners this year are electric vehicles.   ate AAA spokesman Nick Jarmusz says  consumers responded to  soaring gas prices last year by purchasing more than 760,000 electric vehicles, a 65 percent increase from 2021.   Jarmusz says  seven of the ten winners in the AAA Car Guide categories are  pure electric vehicles, two were hybrids and only one vehicle was gasoline powered.

4-24-23 brewers’ mitchell could miss rest of season because of shoulder injury

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Milwaukee Brewers rookie center fielder Garrett Mitchell is at risk of missing the rest of the season after an MRI revealed significant damage to his left shoulder. Brewers manager Craig Counsell said Friday that Mitchell is getting a second opinion. The Fond du Lac Public Library has renamed its east-side branch in honor of the late county executive Allen Buechel.   Library director Jon Mark Bolthouse says the branch, located near the Festival Foods plaza off East Johnson Street and Country Lane,  has been renamed the Allen J.
