5-16-23 downtown fdl farmer’s market starts this weekend

Mark your calendars! This Saturday, May 20th is the first day of the 2023 Farmers Market. We are very excited to welcome the community to downtown.

Farmers Market Reminders

  • Main Street will be closed from 6:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays from May-October.
  • There is no overnight parking on Main Street between Forest Avenue and Western Avenue from May-October.
  • All downtown businesses are eligible to receive one free space at the Farmers Market to promote their business. An application is required. Application can be found linked in the newsletter, on our website, or printed paper copies are available on our website.

3-28-25 child dies in house fire in calumet county

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child.  Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T.   A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
