MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A Ghana national has pleaded not guilty in federal court to stealing about $2.4 million from the Wisconsin Republican Party in a wire fraud scheme. Nearly 80 employees of a global manufacturing company based in Fond du lac are being laid off.  Elkay Interior Systems has sent a  lettter to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development announcing it will be permanently closing its West Rolling Meadows Drive location  in Fond du Lac.  Seventy-seven employees will be permanently laid off  "no later than October 6 and beginning as early as June 30,"  according to the letter.   The affected […]
