MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republicans who control the Wisconsin Legislature have voted to end funding for a pandemic-era child care subsidy program. 6-17-23 property selected in horicon for mptc regional fire training center

Property in Horicon has been chosen for a new regional fire training facility, being built by Moraine Park Technical College.  The facility will be located in the Marshland Crossing Business park.  In addition to the fire training center voters in April approved  renovating the manufacturing and trade center, and the health services and nursing wing at the Fond du Lac campus, and a remodeling project at the West Bend campus.

The Ripon Early Bird and Noon Kiwanis clubs are asking for the public's help to to raise the funds necessary to build an all-inclusive playground at Riggs County Park.   The clubs hope to raise $80,000 to pay for the estimated $270,000 cost to build the playground that that will include 43 features for more than 230 children.  The clubs will match up to $30,000 of donations made.  The goal is to start construction next spring […]
