GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (AP) — A man who swam across Lake Michigan in 1998 said he’s returning 25 years later for a longer splash. 7-17-23 fdl apartment bathroom fire

Nobody was injured in a fire in a Fond du Lac  apartment bathroom exhaust fan.  Around 2am Monday firefighters were called to an apartment at 234 S. Holy Family Catholic Community's Latin Flavor Carnival returned for it's second year in Fond du Lac over the weekend.  The event  Sunday in the Holy Family Prayer Garden on Fourth Street Way, featured traditional Latin American cuisine, games,  entertainment, including a dance and singing contest.

(AP) — Residents of an island polluted with PFAS chemicals have filed claims demanding more than $40 million from a western Wisconsin city they consider responsible for the contamination.
